After more than sixty years of operating a hospitality business for generations of guests and families at Linger Longer by the Sea, the Delahanty family has made the difficult decision to sell the properties.
The business will be closing at the end of the current rental season in the Fall of 2022. At this time, we cannot accept any reservations for the 2023 season. Rest assured, all reservations for 2022 will be honored as scheduled.
The family is working with a real estate brokerage team of Keen-Summit and Sotheby’s International Realty. For some basic information, the cottages and apartments at 261 Linnell Landing Rd. inclusive of the Linger Longer Inn business, will be offered in its entirety. Consideration will be given for individual unit offers. The two properties at 131 Linnell Landing Road and Partridge Circle will be sold individually or as part of a bulk Linger Longer sale if desired by a bulk buyer. Beach rights will be included with the 261 Linnell property and depending on the bulk buyer and circumstances may be offered with the 131 Linnell and 45 Partridge Circle properties as well. As a family, we have valued your patronage over the years. We have also been privileged that you chose Linger Longer as part of your personal and family vacation location. We acknowledge that generations of families have created countless memories and positive Cape Cod experiences at Linger Longer. The Delahanty family has been very fortunate to have shared, in a small way, in these special moments.
In the 1950’s, our grandfather made the bold decision to purchase the Linger Longer property. Now it is time to start the next chapter for this beautiful property. We want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
