Q. What are Linger Longer’s Policies?

Q: Do we have to bring our own sheets and towels?
A: No. All sheets and towels are provided with the exception of beach towels.

Q: What time should we check in?
A: Check-in is anytime after 3:00pm on the day of arrival. Check out is 10:00am.

Q: How do we get into the cottage if we arrive late at night or if no one is there when we arrive?
A: There will be a key in a small lockbox next to your unit’s front door. The combination will be sent to you with the confirmation letter.

Q: Do you provide cribs and/or high chairs? Is there an extra charge for these?
A: We do have portable cribs and highchairs that we provide free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. You can check availability through the office.

Q: How close are the units to the water?
A: All apartments are right on the beach, facing the water. Some of our cottages are less than 60 yards from the beach, with some actually on the beach. Check out our property map in the accommodations section.

Q. Do you accept well-behaved pets?
A: Sorry, no pets allowed!

Q. Can I rent daily or for less than a week?
A: No. There are no daily rentals at any time for 2024.

Q. Are there any smaller cottages available with fewer bedrooms?
A: No. We only offer 3 Bedroom units in 2024. The apartments offer 1 and 2 bedroom units.

Q: What happens if I cancel my reservation? Will I get my deposit back?
A: A: If we are able to re-rent the unit, we will return your deposit, minus a $50 processing fee. Help us out by giving us plenty of lead-time. We have as much interest in getting it rented out as you do!


Q. I thought Linger Longer was being sold?
A: Five cottages have already been sold to private parties. Additional units are still available for sale. If interested, please contact these Sotheby’s International Realty agents:

Q. What happened to the other cottages?
A: Some of our prior cottages have been sold to private parties and are no longer available for bookings through Linger Longer By the Sea.

Q. Will Bruce and Kay still be managing Linger Longer?
A: Yes.

Q. Can I rest assured that my 2024 reservation will be honored even if the unit is sold?
A: Yes. All reservations booked during this calendar year for a 2024 stay will be honored.
